As a Medical Driver, you serve as a key connection between our campus, the Nursing Department, and the medical providers who support our students. You ensure that each child’s medical appointments are well‑coordinated, safe, and supported from start to finish—while also contributing to the daily operations of the Nursing Department.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured environment where communication and safety come first. You’ll help children navigate potentially stressful appointments by providing consistency, reassurance, and a calm presence. Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.25 Hourly; Based on experience and education



RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Makes appointments for medical appointments campus‑wide, coordinating them to promote efficiency, ensuring trips are consolidated, all necessary paperwork accompanies each visit, and schedules are clearly communicated.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Nursing Department, medical offices, and residences, sharing essential student information to support successful visits and communicating outcomes accurately and promptly.
  • Drives students to and from appointments in a safe, compliant manner while maintaining conduct aligned with DMV regulations and agency expectations.
  • Assists with day‑to‑day functioning of the Nursing Department by answering phones, organizing paperwork, reporting documentation issues, and supporting students during on‑campus appointments.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid NYS Driver's License Required
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain agency driving privileges
