Manager/Supervisor

The Residence Manager develops, implements and maintains residential, recreational and learning systems within the residence and campus environments. The Residence Manager is responsible for ensuring the living environment is structured to support independent skill development while remaining a safe, clean, pleasant, age appropriate home. As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, the Residence Manager communicates and collaborates with other professionals from all disciplines in planning, creating, training, implementing and assessing student specific interventions. The Residence Manager will demonstrate a working knowledge of the program model. In keeping with the Train the Trainer model, provides training, modeling, feedback, guidance and encouragement to staff regarding student specific learning and behavioral interventions during both program and non-program time. The Residence Manager is responsible for procuring necessary household items while working within parameters identified by fiscal, operations and other related department procedures.

Pay Range: $64,310.00 - $71,430.00 Annual Salary; Based on education and experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Residence Manager will develop and maintain residential systems to ensure organization of household items, student belongings, visual/communication supports, equipment and paperwork.
  • The Residence Manager is responsible for structuring the living environment to support independent skill development while remaining a clean, organized, pleasant, age appropriate home.
  • The Residence Manager supervises and directly monitors the performance of Direct Support Professionals.
  • Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Children's Residential Services, the Residence Manager will ensure optimal staffing is maintained based upon established staff to student ratios.
  • The Residence Manager will fulfill the responsibility of On-Duty Supervisor coverage when assigned.
  • The Residence Manager ensures adherence with regulatory requirements as they relate to incident management procedures, medication administration procedures and staff training requirements.
  • The Residence Manager will complete and maintain records as needed.
  • Under the general supervision of Coordinator of Children's Residential Services, the Residence Manager will monitor all the components of their residential budget.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human services preferred or a combination of education and experience to perform the responsibilities of the position.
  • Must maintain qualifications in the crisis intervention procedure of the agency.
  • Must be capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention of the agency.
  • Must be capable at all times of assisting occupants in the orderly evacuation of the facility, by both primary and secondary paths in the event of fire or other emergency.
